Epic Games: Bulletstorm

So I was just looking around the Facebook when one of those little ads in the sidebar caught my attention[how does facebook know what I like????].  The name wasn't familiar, but the development team rang a bell in my mind [Epic Games... hmmmm... heard of them from something before....].  The reason why I clicked, though, was because I saw the Gears of War logo!

So, being the HUGE Gears of War fan that I am [can't be too huge, I wasn't able to tell that Epic Games was the developer upon first site] I clicked on the ad.  I was taken to a Facebook page for the game "Bulletstorm".  But before I just clicked on the "like" button, I wanted to do some research first.  What in the world is this "Bulletstorm" thing?  I consulted my media guru [youtube's search engine] and came up with the following:



After watching that video, I was amazed.  I am really looking forward to the creative ways to kill enemies.  I haven't seen anything like this rating system since Devil May Cry, but then again, there was a time that I stopped paying attention to video games [c2003-2007 aka college years].  It does look interesting, though, and I will follow it more.

However, even if this does turn out being something awesome, I am still not satisfied by the fact that THIS will be coming out in early 2011 instead of GEARS OF WAR 3.  #ImJustSayin

Oh, and one more thing:

I am so sorry, but this cover art is not fantastic.  It is NOT the business.  Instead, it reminds me of those days in the 90s when the Sega Genesis cover arts would reflect something that was not at all in the game.

Phantasy Star IV anybody?  I swear to GOD, there is nothing in this cover art that has anything to do with the game!  I mean, yeah Chaz wore red and Rika had a claw, but that's about it...
