I guess it's because Greenville Mississppi is right there in the Delta where other horrible events such as hangings and draggings always happen. Phoebe Noble was an eyewitness to the events:

This video had me dying of laughter. It is such a mess. I mean, really? A funeral service for the Devil that costs ten dollars? Really? A HOME-GOING service FOR the Devil. You realize he already lives in Hell right? So I'm going to pay TEN DOLLARS to go to something that's usually free.... and it really doesn't make that much sense? They didn't think that part through all the way...
But there is one positive thing: Residents of Greenville Mississippi have the potential to be super creative. Didn't Oprah come from there?
